Baltonsborough is a historic village with a wonderful and thriving community. Situated 4 miles from Glastonbury, it is surrounded by countryside and boarders the River Brue. A popular village due to its highly acclaimed pre and primary school, it is also home to the Grade II listed Greyhound Inn, a traditional country pub which has been renovated in recent years. The Village Hall has an array of community activities from Zumba and Bowls to amateur dramatics and walking clubs and the local allotments are prized for their splendor and beauty. Only a few miles to Castle Cary and its fast train to London in under an hour and a half makes Baltonsborough an attractive option for those wishing to enjoy rural living but with the south east and the rest of the country easily attainable.
