Our Passion for Building Beautifully
Galion is passionate about crafting bespoke, traditionally designed homes, believing that characterful and charming approach is timeless and will effortlessly stand the test of time. Supported by a team of in-house industry experts, each home is built to an impeccably high standard using traditional craftsmanship and with the utmost care to meet the exacting requirements of modern day living.
Sustainability is at the heart of every Galion project. As considerate developers, sympathetic to existing communities and the landscape on which we build, every effort is made to ensure the safeguarding of the environment both within and surrounding our exceptional homes. A Galion home is a warm and happy place to be and certainly a distinctive home of which to be immensely proud.

Our Aspirations for the Land
Galion has a number of criteria that are important to us when selecting land for new projects. With or without planning permission, each precious piece of land is handpicked and only selected if the team believes their sustainable approach to development will enhance the local area and provide a legacy project in which every stakeholder from the landowner and local residents to parish councillors can be proud.
Working collaboratively with landowners, local residents, architects and planners, Galion’s planning successes are based on their understanding of the responsibility of outstanding design which complements the local area and stands the test of time.
Galion is always delighted to speak with landowners who feel that their land fits with our ethos. Please do get in touch using the Contact Us link provided.

With over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, mostly in housebuilding, Kevin joined Galion in March 2020 excited to be involved with a quality product and developing the Galion brand. As part of the commercial team, Kevin is responsible for the financial controls across Galion’s schemes. Kevin lives in historic Glastonbury with his wife, son and boomerang daughter (she’s usually away studying for her Masters), along with a cat and five chickens.
Carmen Ward
Project Co-ordinator
Carmen joined the team late in 2019 having had a very diverse career path from Veterinary Nurse to Purchasing Manager of submarine parts! The decision to jump into the world of property was not a difficult one. Carmen is passionate about the world of design and customer service and so her role at Galion is, in her own words, “my dream job”. Combining this passion for property with the widest of skillsets, Carmen ensures that the ethos of Galion is upheld and nurtured at every corner. Married with two children and 4 chickens, the family love an adventure! Backpacking through Vietnam was one of the highlights but this team are equally happy walking the Beacons or exploring the British countryside.
Lee Swanick
Senior Site Manager
Lee has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry – starting as a bricklayer before progressing to site management. Lee has worked across a variety of SMEs to larger PLCs and has experience with a range of building techniques including timber frame, traditional build and sustainable homes. Prior to working in construction Lee spent six years in the Army. When not overseeing our projects Lee spends his spare time playing pool and crafting handmade pool and snooker cues.
